You should try seeing how things cool down in texas. Its midnight, and its 80f(26c) outside. Usually when we need things to cool down to do work we lay a fan across the motor and leave it there for a bit. Big plastic ones are okay but watch out for realllly hot things

The temp gauge on your cluster is usually inaccurate though. If you want a real reading you either have to install your own gauge or just use a infered thermometer to get a reading. As long as you gauge doenst go above half way though your fine.
It is actually idel for the manufactur to push the internal temp of the motor up. There are a lot of products that like to push the line between hot and overheating, the only downside is when something does go wrong its usually does damage before most people know whats going on.
