Probe Headers

Has anyone here converted a set of probe headers to th fit the 1.6dohc , what modifications are required and how much of a performance gain was achieved?

I wish i had a dyno of the before and after, but yes i have done it.


You have to port the header/head modistly to make them line up a little better and drill some new holes.

You also need to get the downpipe/flexpipe and have the exsats fixed as well

hey i got about 8 hp to the wheel ...says the dyno cant post the no scanner
3-1-0 RACING club PREZ.

they fit the bp>

So these probe 2.0l headers dont fit the 1.6dohc, but fit the 1.8 engine?

I am not sure what bp he has seen them fit but when i checked it against a gasket it didnt.

It worked with some modification for a the 1.6 dohc though

Parts needing installed: turbo kit from BB (if i ever get it), 9.0:1 CR Diamond pistons, 4340 forged H beam rods, C/J-Spec spoiler, Nissan red tops in KL rails

I just ordered a set of these headers and when I get them, I will have pics of the process of tweekin them to fit my 1.6dohc rs on my cardomain site. but if they take as long as my cf hood is to get here I might be adapting them to some sort of antigravity drive :welder:
