I would suggest checking to see if your brake fluid is low

Torpedan is right!
When you depress your clutch pedal you are taking some fluid from your reservior and sending it through the clutch line to actuate your clutch slave cylinder. There is a sensor in your reservior that lights the "parking brake light" when the fluid is low. Many MXers also experience the same problem when pulling a sharp turn.
When outside and in font of the car, the brake/clutch fluid reservior is located on the right hand side toward the rear of your engine compartment. This small "rectangular tub" has markings on the side reading "full" and "low". First try filling it to the "full" mark. If your brake light still turns on while depressing clutch, try bringing the level of fluid a little over the "full" mark. Remember to use the good DOT approved brake fluid.
Always nice to learn exactly what happens so you can help teach others somewhere down the line!
