Help stop front end Vibration

Post by CanadianMx-3 »

When my girlfriend got her new car I noticed that the brakes were shot and there was a pulsing coming from the front end whenever the car would be moving kind like a thud, thud, thud. So I got the tires balanced and they zero'd out(meaning they are not bent or unbalanced). Then I got the brakes done. Still getting a thumping sound. Its coming from underneath the floor. It feels like the rims are bent but I've gotten that checked out and can't figure what it is. Its really annoying and uncomfortable to drive. Could it be the tranny or drivetrain?

two things I can think of for you to check out
1. check out the suspension
2. check the CV joints and drive shafts.

thanks, the passenger side outer cv boot was torn. I guess there was damage done. Her mechanic just put on the new boot.
