Hole in muffler..What exhaust?

Recently noticed that there is a hole somewhere in my exhaust system. Haven't really checked it out considering the rain/snow lately. I believe it's the muffler. If it's just my muffler should I stick with the stock 1.8 piping and what type of muffler should I get. How much would this cost? Or should I get the whole system replaced and how much would this cost?
