can a pro lx tranny fit my 1994 rs 1.6 dohc??if it can what year make and model can i get that tranny from? the only reason why i want a pro lx tranny is because im going to do a btp swap real soon so if anyone can help please do??????????

is there anything wrong with your tranny now? i believe it will fit, but you'll need to either use the sohc passenger side cv axle, or get the pro lx jack-shaft and passenger side cv axle. you'll also need the side tranny mount BRACKET, flywheel, and clutch as well. if your current tranny is fine, then i wouldn't swap it out until i got the motor. dropping the tranny isn't exactly fun with the mx3. but the years are 90-94 pro lx and 91-95 escort gt

the tranny is done thats what my mechanic said to me so i was woundering if i could put a pro lx tranny it

i believe it can be, but you'll have to ask some of the b6t guys to confirm it.

I'm using my stock tranny (94 MX3 DOHC) and is working fine. But I need a ACT clutch. For your info you can use the KIA Sephia '95,'96 tranny (1.8 DOHC), thats the tranny that I will use. KIA use a lot of similar parts of Mazda. :welder:
