you can reprogram you stock ECU(not recommanded)

i had the stock ECU from my 1.6 93 RS SOCH. Car running great but i had very bad fuel economie changed to a bp26 cost me 230$US

#1 bp26 (japan) Stock ECU GTX ( more aggressive then bp55
#2 bp55 (australia) Stock ECU GTX
#3 use stock Mx-3 ECU

you CANNOT reprogram the stock ecu successfully. Trust me, i was a guinea pig for 3 trial ecu's, NONE of them worked.

options are this:

1- if you have a sohc, use the pro lx ecu along with a piggy back(easiest setup, not the best)

2- if you have the dohc, swap all the wiring over from the gtx.(horrible choice)

3- buy a stand-alone system.(same difficulty as #2, but a lot better.

it's funny how people spend all this money to get a turbo/swap going, but neglect or cheap-out on the MOST IMPORTANT part of the swap.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.
