Re: New BP horsepower record!
I don't think that would be too street worthy. Marc's car is running a T3/T4 setup, although big, is much more streetable. That T67 wouldn't spool for till 6000rpm or longer.

Re: New BP horsepower record!
i am confused. i was under the impression the 1.8l is physically longer and would not head swap...This was also done with a STOCK M1 head and Intake Manifold No sheetmetal intake or M2 head.

Re: New BP horsepower record!
M1 and M2 are the body styles. M1 versions had both the B6 and BP engines available in them, these were the ones with the pop up lights. The newer version is the M2. The M2 cylinder head is much better in design, it features more aggressive cams, solid lifters, stiffer springs and a lower degree port design. Going from an M1 to M2 head has netted people 10-25hp with proper tuning. If Marc was running with his M2 head (which is being worked on) and his sheetmetal manifold, I would suspect an additional 20whp.
