Driveshaft and Transmission question...
Driveshaft and Transmission question...
I had a 323GT, but before I got rid of the rotted out shell I forgot to take the driveshafts. So now I'm in search of both left and right driveshafts, and the intermediate shaft that bolts to the back of the engine block. I'm not sure if the parts from the DOHC 4 cylinder Mx3 are interchangable.
I have a B6T and the G25M-R transmission, both out of a 323GT as stated before, and the DOHC 4 cyl MX3 has the same engine block as the B6T, so the bolt locations for the intermediate shaft would be the same. I'm not sure if they have the same transmission though... which is why I'm unsure if the MX3 parts would work. Is the DOHC Mx3 transmission generally the same as the 323GT. I know one is cable operated clutch and the other hydro, and they have different gearing, but are the transmission case and driveshaft splines the same?
Thanks.
