POLE: how many have you have ACTUALLY turbo charged...

Hey guys, how many of you ACTUALLY have turbo charged either the DOHC or SOHC. If you have, please list everything you've done that isn't stock, and how much you think you've spent on it. I'm hopefully soon to be boosted (this summer at least) I just wanan hear what mods, who's done it, how reliable it is, if you'd recomend it etc. etc. Thanx guys!

come on guys... ur saying NO ONE has turbo charged their car?!?!? COME ON!!! I wanna hear who's done it, what they think, and how well it performs!!! Isn't anyone else interested in seeing the mass numbers? Oh, if you know sumone who has but isn't on the board, go ahead and post for them. I wanna know a close to exact number on how many people actually have done it! Thanx guys!

ive turbo charged the DOHC. ive had few problems but nothing major. at 7 psi i made 195.2 whp and 199.5 lbs of torque.heres the site to my car. theres a few engine pics and a dyno sheet as well. I did the bolt-on, I run 8-9 PSI, but I am not sure what the numbers are yet stilling needing to put in my clutch and get my S-AFC to work right. Other than that is runs great.Here is my site it has a well documented how to on there.http://net-vest.cjb.net

i think everybody else has done a swap; be it B6T or BPT. I'm putting in my B6T this weekend...

ACT 4 puck w/ extreme plate
Apexi Safc & AVCr
Bomb muffler w/ 2.5" piping/high flow cat
PWR I/C & radiator, fal fan, RC eng 370's, Jacobs elec. ice pak, Blitz ddbov.
and if she runs right, juice is soon to come.

Yeah, I've been here a while and realize that most people do the swaps. I was just so intrigued as how Jademx3 got 190 whp with just a bolt on kit!! That's insane. That makes me just wanna do a bolt on even more. I already have it all planned out, i just wanna make sure there are people to hear from who have done it, and what they think.

I am also turbocharged, 1994 MX3 1.6 DOHC using the B6T manifold and turbo, Vortech FMU, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Miata 1.8 injectors, TurboXS BOV, Unorthodox Lightened Pulley, Autometer Gauges, NGK Wires, Denso Iridium Plugs, 2.25" exhaust. I am running 7psi.Just waiting on a ACT clutch before I do some 1/4 mile runs. The car is way quicker now than before.[ March 11, 2003: Message edited by: mx3dohc16 ]
