1.6L SOHC idle problems??? anyone?

when i puch the breaks my engins idles ruff but someone told me to change my ground wire? in a way it dosent sound dumb because lights are from the batery and if i have a bad ground? hummm did someone try this before?
zoom zoom 1.6L SOHC. hummm it's knocking :( but its gething fixed.

Check to see if all your vaccuum lines are still hooked up, one of mine worked itself loose one time and caused a weird idle. Just look at the vaccuum line routing diagram on the underside of the hood.

It's probably the same idle problem that most l4's have, just not as pronounced. Improving your charging system is probably the solution. Search for idle in this forum & you'll see a ton of info.
Of course checking for vacume leaks is a good Idea as well.

where can i find the vacuum system diagram if it's no longer on my hood?
