what r ur 4 cyl times?

Post by Timmyd865 »

What are you guys doing w/your 4 cyl? I hear alotta KL-ze guys pulling you know like 15-14's, or 13's turbo. But what are you guys doing? I wanna hear the car, the year, the engine, and I really wanna hear from the B6t's or BPT's. I havn't seen any times or speeds from any of you guys on the 4cyl. I hear everything about the 6's though.

10 flat in the 1/8th which is about a 14.7 to 15 flat in the 1/4. bout to have some times start dropping. cre8v mx-3 is farther along with his haltech than i am so hell be able to give you some better 4 cyl times. oh and mines a bpt swap.....stock for know but about to get a dose of the upgrades.
i hit 10 flat at about 73 mph in the 1/8th i should drop into the nines the next time i go. i wanna practice at the 1/8th till i get good enough at it and then go to the 1/4 mile and see what i get. :D

I pulled of a 14.4 in Sac last year squeezin a lil and a fresh pair of slicks. Without slicks I am usually in the 15.2-15.7 range.

I ran a 16.90 at 89mph. All I have done is intake, exhaust, and wieght reduction. I also deflated tires down to 15psi. Next time i'm going to deflate them to 9psi.

Jeremy is a dork. :) Turbo is takin a lil longer than expected to unforseen uprooting of my live and moving approx 650 miles from original residence. Luckily my new location has made many new engine builders and after market suppliers (Corksport, Pineapple Racing) available.
[ October 13, 2002: Message edited by: cjthor ]
[ October 13, 2002: Message edited by: cjthor ]

i ran an embarasing 17.522 with a cai and about a 200lb weight reduction. it was a hot day and my tires are almost gone. but that time will be blown away once i get some money for the bpt swap. oh well at least my car is unique and not some civic or eclipse. that to me is worth more then a "fast" common car.
Hmm. what to do now..
....maybe a VTEC for lunch.
