New clutch

Post by Timmyd865 »

Ok.. here's my run down. I hafta get a new differential bearing. It's worn out for whatever reason... Obviously upon removal the clutch will be out and would be a perfect time for a new clutch. Is there a stronger factory clutch. I have a 1.6 DOHC. I don't really wanna go with after market stuff like ACT, cause I don't know if that'd be as good as just a protege clutch for instance. Do you guys know of another MAZDA clutch that will fit right into mine that has a stronger threshold and would just be better? Thank you.

Dude, just get a Centerforce Stage 1 Clutch. You can get it for like $220. An OEM clutch is abotu $160, and with the stage 1 clutch you get nice smooth enguagement like an OEM but about 90% more Grab than an OEM clutch, so Get that one.
