I want to make my manual 5 into a 6. How do I do that? Web links are always smiled upon.

I have 6 speed on my tranny ,,, its Reverse! [img]shrug.gif"%20border="0[/img]

Even if this was possible, you wouldn't get more performance out of it, you would just save on gas.

Its gota be possible, you can buy a miata with a 6-speed. Isn’t there someone out there that could make a custom gearbox? I mean common you can do it in Gran Truismo 3 than surely you can do it in real life! ;)<P>Anyway, I figured a 6speed would help if I had an engine upgrade and also I wouldn’t cruse the highway at 4000rpm.<p>[ February 12, 2002: Message edited by: Andrew ]

i believe quaife makes a universal 6 speed gearbox for transverse engines. it costs 14,000 dollars. have fun!<P>dave
