liking oil in my spark plugs

i change my spark plug yesterday... and when i took out my old spark plug i found oil evrywhere..... i need help to know whats the problem is and how to fix it ... or any answer?

Your tube seals are leaking if it is all over the outside of the plug. this can be fixed by getting the correct seals and valve cover gasket, removing the valve cover replacing the seal and v/c gasket and putting it back together, very easy. if it is on the electrode side of the plug you have some internal engine problems that need to be looked at. hope this helps, jamie

It could also be that someone (perhaps not you) was putting oil in the car and spilled it all over the valve cover and it ran into the spark plug area. You should worry more if the oil was on the electrode of the spark plug (which would also mean that you are burning oil...most likely).
