K&N air filter

Hopefully some one can help me out here. Is a K&N filte a good upgrade do you really get anything out of it performance wise? Just looking for some info on it? Thanks

ya i would also like to know cause my 93 mx-3 sucks with its 88 hp<BR>need more power<BR>lol

I have done this mod on my 1.8 V6 <BR>I used a K&N clamp on <BR>though am not sure if it gave me more hp <BR>But it sounds great and it goes 1 mile more pr litre<BR>hope it helps <p>[This message has been edited by Kim 95' V6 DK (edited July 23, 2001).]

LMAO Kim 95' V6 DK, so you're saying you get about 40-50 more miles per tank of gas since you slipped in a K&N Filter...lol what bs.

shouldnt your mileage go DOWN? more air more fuel.<p>sometimes mileage goes up if your STOCK filter is dirty and you replace it with a new one.. or so i hear.
