Speaker Sizes

Can anyone recommend fairly high powered speakers that fit in the stock locations for the MX? I believe that its 6.5s all around, but it seems to me I had problems getting 6.5s to fit with scrwe placement on my last MX. <P>Thanks for any help<BR>Ryan

The speaker sizes are 5 1/4 all around,the front doors have plenty of room for components though,i have kenwwod 5 1/4 components in mine,with the tweets in the upper door sill and the crossovers right in the door panel.Watch the mounting depth on the rear strut towers also,some 5 1/4 speakers are to deep.hope this helps.

i have 6.5 in the front and in the back , and they fit no prob, so i dont know why some ppl say they use 5 1/4
