Are you sure it is a dohc? Because those were only made, to my knowledge, from 94 onwards. 92-93 were 1.6 sohc. Anyways either are good and the mx-3 is a good looking car. People always ask me what year mine is and when I say 93 they can't believe it is that old. anyways with a few cosmetic changes and a new paint job(if you have the cash) you can make it look great.<BR> :roll:

The 92-93 DOHC 1.8L has 24 valves while the SOHC 1.6L has 16 valves. Yes you could paint it yourself... if you have the equipment... but i would think you should get it done professionally. The fastest MX-3 I have heard of is 11 seconds. :p
