Putting 15" tires on a RS?...
I have a 96 RS with 14" rims on it. Would putting 15" rims affect anything if I was to put some on? Driving ability? Hitting something inside the wheel well? Those stock things are so ugly.

i have 17's and there are people with 18's. you won't have any problems.
Fast imports only come on two wheels.

You haven't changed the springs or anything?
What does having bigger tires do for power/performance? I think they give better road handling, yes/no?

Re: Putting 15" tires on a RS?...
My RS is lowered 2" with 17" and I have to pull in my driveway sideways, and I do scrape over some speed bumps. Remember it will be a lowrider, its a diff style of driving. Slow over bumps, sideways into driveways.

[ April 29, 2002: Message edited by: Custommx3 ]

Thanks for all the replies...
Ok, so if I don't lower my car and just throw on a set of 17" wheels I'll be fine?

lower it, looks MUCH better. Use coilovers, adjustable height.

ya you should lower it. After its low you just learn how to maneuver and deal w/ a few impatient people who honk in parking lots when you try and make it over speed bumps.
