Hitch question

My 92 GS came with a big bolt on hitch bar. I have no use for it, so im cleaning it up and selling it..

Question for when i go to sell it is... what other cars would these fit? Is it only 92-95 MX3's as this CURT site says?

Interesting, didn't know you could get one for mx-3. Chances are it's custom made so it probably won't fit another car unless you fabricate it to fit another car. You could tow a jet ski with mx3 or small portable trailer so your dog could sleep in one lol

I may be interested in it depending how much you want for it. Can you get a couple pictures of it and how it mounts to the car? I'm curious.

Gee sounds like a sales pitch to me sooooo, I was just making sure he understood the rules of the forum.

Sorry admin. This is a general mx-3 question not a sale post.

I'm asking if anyone knows what other cars it would fit so that when i'm ready to sell it I can market it correctly. Don't think i'd want to bother shipping it anyway, its big.

General knowledge on how the hitch is mounted, there are 2 mounting brackets at the top, so drill through your trunk, and run some bolts through. mine included 2 small plates for the top side as well.

If you go to this site, http://www.thehitchstore.com/?gclid=COb ... Mgod93sA7A they will show you what cars this hitch will fit. Thehitchstore sells Curt hitches. Very good people to deal with I might add.

It will fit the MX3 only. Mazda did sell a hitch for the MX3 but they were just aftermarket re-branded anyways and a dealer only option. I have a BG hitch that I have had to modify to get it to fit the MX chassis as the exhaust cutouts are in a completely different location. Other than the exhaust it would fit a 323, protege, or escort. They are only rated for about 700lbs tongue weight.
