Car is really starting to look complete : )
Got some new tires today and found a set of honeycomb rims for a good price on ebay
now to start attacking this soon :):)
After replacing the distributor , the car was still acting weird. Kept shutting off everytime I would go up a hill and whatnot, (and Colorado is nothing but hills LOL). At first I just thought my gas gauge was broke. The car would act like it was running out of gas and it would be at half a tank or even more. So I figured I needed a new fuel pump and I did, but also I needed to get my gas tank cleaned out. I guess while its been sitting for however long before I bought it, there was sludge type crap just caked up in the bottom of it. I did not know this or even had a clue since I hardly ever drive this car. But after a cleaned out gas tank, new fuel pump, and had to get a new fuel filter as well, car is running great.
Not sure, the guy I bought it from in AZ was planning on putting all porsche parts in it, exterior and interior. He pretty much completely stripped it down then just said forget it oh well his lost, my gain
Oh i see. That would be cool all porsche parts. AZ??? So its pretty much rust free huh. As soo as you get the chance through some under coat on the car to help it stay that was in all that snow you will be in
Oh yeah i def will be doing that. Most likely though this car will just be kept in the garage the whole winter up here. Since there is no heat in it anyway lol and il feel more comfortable driving my truck around through all the snow we are going to get.

Wanted to start doing some body work on my 92 but not sure what could of caused this.. Not sure if its maybe sun damage, it caught on fire at some point, or it is just some body damage from the a long time ago and the previous owner didnt do a good job of fixing it/covering it up...
oh thats for sure human damage with a LAAZZZY repair job. I say buy a new fender similar in color or have it painted and tap that ding out of the hood and put a little body filler to smooth it out then paint or get a new on from the pick and pull. The sun wouldnt do damaged like that to steel. You could maybe tap the dent out of the fender and put a small amount of body filler on it as well but if the fenders are available then why not.
