I got a gallon of it for a good price, so I'm going to check it out.
It's a synthetic with the same base as Mobil1, but better engineered somehow. He said that these are the only 2 oils that use the particular base.
My friend uses it in his 500hp Subaru, and says he gets slightly better gas mileage with it. Also, I guess it's the oil of choice for Bonneville speed record motorcycles. One of them is 545hp!
He told me a bunch of other stuff about it, and it sounded good, so I'll see...

How much was the gallon(= 4 quarts)? Mobil 1 is about 9.50 a quart here or 38 a gallon, although last time I got 10 bucks off when I bought 5 quarts.
I have a feeling my k8 wouldn't notice the difference, but it sounds interesting!
