Re: WhiteFinish's Log Megasquirted p5
Still working on the megasquirt, problems with reving it higher than 4100 rpm.
Might want to take it to the crankpully sensor only instead crank and cam sensor for RPM's
Anyways
Also bought a passengerside motormount from King6
Still doubting about a good tranny mount.

Re: WhiteFinish's Log Megasquirted p5
why is everyone only buying the passenger side mount? I would think you wnat to change the front and rear ones for less wheel hop and the tranny one for less stress on the drive train.....is there something im missing with the passnger side mount? or was it because it IS the easiest one to change......

Maybe he already has AWR mounts? I know I do, and AWR didn't make a timing belt side mount when I last looked. Are you shaving off a tooth then WhiteFinish? I recommend a KLG4 pulley if you can get it, 36-1 ftw.

@kulluminati... AWR's are already here. Passenger side is the only one I know that fit's.
I haven't seen a plug and play tranny mount.
@marc
Yes, shaved one tooth. Will try to get a KLG4 pully. Might as well go the nice way
Are you using the 36-1?

I also looked at King6 mounts, are you 100% sure it will fit because i was skeptical myself on the passenger side one? Also they are re-opening or something how did you buy this from them?

I've seen some people use it before, so it should fit.
I bought it before he closed for summer.

Did a roundtrip in the Netherlands.
Picked up a KLDE for 50 bucks and a KLZE + transmission.
Current inventory
1x KLDE
2x KLZE (not working, needing rebuild)
4x transmission.
I need more space !!!

Torquing the nut for the new spring on my cams
Trying to rebuild the HLA's.... with them stupid tiny balls in them !!
Progress is slow... mainly due to some unknown factors how to improve oiling and trying to find a good match between piston and rod.

Re: WhiteFinish's Log Megasquirted p5
@weede... Yes, cleaning + some light polish
Ok, so the 50$ engine didn't do as well as I hoped. Also had very very low compression and a spun #6 bearing.
What the heck... I'll rebuild 2 engines than. The KLDE testhog will be sold lateron.

Re: WhiteFinish's Log Megasquirted p5
Some more polishing on the HLAs
Timingbelt inner covers
Before:
After:
Testing a connecting rod from a 5.4 SBF.
much stronger / beefier and even 10% lighter.
Also brought the completely disassembled engines to the machineshop. Now my 1.2l 3 cilinder Seat suddenly was a 15 cilinder car !!
