Vacuum line for MegaSquirt

Post by MrMazda92 »

Hello MegaSquirters(Yeah, laugh it up), I've got a question!

I'm looking to install and tune my MegaSquirt this week... The first obstacle in my way is finding a place to run the vacuum line through my firewall near the ECU's stock location.

Where do people typically run it through? I'd like to avoid poking unnecessary holes in the body, so please let fly with the suggestions!

Nevermind...

I pulled the stock ECU and ended up running the vac. line through the firewall with the wiring harness. It took some convincing, but it went through after a while...

I'm still running the stock ECU until I pick up a wideband setup, coilpacks, and figure out the IAT sensor so I can remove the VAF.

Since my K8 started leaking oil again, I've decided to quit throwing gaskets at it and swap it out soon.
