Its an alarm system for a mx-5 but im sure it will go in a mx-3, but if so where would u put it? and is there anything else i need besides what the seller has...

Idk if any mx3's came with factory alarms...
If you don't have one, then you'll need sensors and the wiring as well.
If you don't have power locks, you'd have to install actuators for that feature to work.
I'd probably try to put it in the dash somewhere...

There's nothing really special with that where you can't install it, it's just a regular system...mind you for something that's used, it's pretty expensive when you can get a new system for half the price of less...

You can get a Clifford alarm setup for less than that. I had one installed on my rs in 98 or 99, and it worked well till the car was parked (i"ll find out soon if it will still work, 5+ years later). I know there's several good alarm companies out there, but my experience with Clifford has been a good one...

yeah stock especially old stock alarms suck. they have shitty range and few features. i got a viper 5901 2-way alarm/remote start. its got a massive range and has tuns of features. install isnt easy but if your good with electrical im sure you can figure it out. id highly recommend going after market for alarms.
