Level of difficulty...

Post by kulluminati777 »

how hard would it be to get these mirrors to fit on the mx-3, like how much cutting fiberglassing would you think is involved because i know its possible...just need a little modification and no there nothing like the ebay ones, they dont stick out as much but if it proves too hard i might just get ebay ones, there made by ganador for the mazdaspeed demio (mazda 2) from the 90's i believe

hmm the tops look pointy enough.

Fowljesse installed some "M3" style mirrors. I can't tell if the ones in your pics are the same...

Check out his pics and notes about installing them: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3//viewtopic.p ... 8&p=493918

Why not just get these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/92-96-MAZDA-MX3 ... 19d087cf2d

I belive YouDirtyFox installed them and they were a direct fit.

Insanely diffilcult! I looked at fitting some vitaloni california mirrors to mine, the problem being were the wing meets the door you have to a large piece that flows them both together then flows into the mirror, get that wrong and it will look terrible.

The only way to get it to work would be use the base plates from the ebay mirrors then mould/affix the ganadors into that, you are talking big bucks then as I thought the ganadors alone were like 200 quid a pair.
