I need a truck

so I need a truck. I do so many different projects that require a truck, I'm thinking it'd be a great idea to grab one. I want a small truck though. I'm talking about non-extended cab small. suggestions?
I was thinking of a:
91-92 b2200, then grabbing a kia fe3 and stuffing it in there... but I'm not comfortable with harness wiring, so it'd probably never happen.

or a 90's nissan pickup or a tacoma...
or a ford ranger
Any suggestions? Small and economical is what I'd be looking for... I don't think the b2200's got any decent milage, at least with the carbs.

How about S-10. I had one and liked it, except it wasn't 4wd, short bed so i had to get something bigger

I really like the Nissan Frontier.

Not sissy like s10's and nissan hardbody's.

Not gigantic and fuel monster like K1500's.

I also like the Colorado.
