Am I missing something here that I don't understand why these are double the cost of basic visors for the mx-3 on other sites on the internet?

They're not mass produced, they come in various forms of tint, and they're individually test fitted to an MX-3 before shipment...

I'd say R and D, time invested, and costs are enough reason for the price. They're also not plasticrap made in China.

There are more pictures out there, and if you guys that have them installed would be so kind, and put up pics here, of them installed, I'd greatly appreciate it!
I have sold a couple hundred sets. I don't remember exactly, and, because I never intended it to be a business, I never kept track.
This lot will be the smoked ones, which are about the same as a dark tinted window. They will have the little bend around the mirrors. They will come with the mounting tape, and instructions.

Yeah, Sisko182. It's kind of like why good paint costs much more. If you like the '80s bubble look, go for them. Mooneggs and I R&D'd these, and settled on a design that people love. He had a set of slim visors made by someone else, and rain would get in if you left the window open, even a crack. I designed these so you can have your window open a bit, even while driving in rain, and water doesn't get in. They are hand made, because i can't afford the CAD program, to have them machine cut. I then use a heat gun to gently warm them up enough to hand bend the front part that wraps around the side mirrors.
If you see pictures of mine, and the cheap kind side by side, you'll probably get it.
