Re: [GI] SRD Reproduction Parts - Now E-Brake Handle BB!

Post by IMACHU2 »

I am on this. I was going to do it Monday, left my shop really early due to freak crazy blizzard. Today it is spring in southern Ontario, so I grabbed an extra handle a few minutes ago and I have taken the button off. I am going to hit the bolt & nut store tomorrow morning and report back :D

The guy at the bolt place claims it is a M5X0.80. A 10-32 machine screw also fit.
Hope that helps get a handle on things

Hallelujah CHRIST ALMIGHTY, MUHAMMAD, YAHWEH, FLYING SPAGHETTI MONSTER or whatever deity you believe in!

well now that THAT'S settled, let's see how many guys from last year come flooding for one of these babies!

I'd go specifically with the metric size, since that's what our cars use.

Haha I think I'll roll with the flying spaghetti monster... sounds best...
Thanks SO much for doing that for us IMACHU2!! You're a frickin legend! And you'll soon be able to legally make dad's jokes like that, too... I guess the hormones have kicked in a lil early
Now I can sit back & no longer watch this thread full of 'can anyone...?', 'please, maybe...????' for another 6 months ;)
Hope its all worth it!! Last update looked awesome, so great work :)

I was dad joke legal at age 24. My son is old and boring now, he just skate boards and chases girls. As ethand suggests I do have a new bambino on the way March 6th. (I was not sure I could escape the preggo long enough to perform this mission)

Is there any chance you'll be attempting to remake the SRD Crossmember and SRD Tiebar?

I'm picky about too much shiny on the interior, but I'm all for rust-free parts down below! That being said, it's really cool that you're remaking these :)

i'm not sure if i'm interpreting your post wrong but he has already actually reproduced these in the past, if you go back to page one of this thread and go back you can see some of the work he did. i'm not sure if he's still doing it but i'm sure he'll let you know.

I think I got the second to last tie bar in his stock last month. Act fast to see if he still has the last one.
