soo saw a MS3 at work...

Post by Sleeper6 »

So last thing yould expect at a honda dealer but we got this sweet 2010 MS3 in on trade this week that a guy turned in for a Civic! Guess they decided to start a family and it was a bit beyond what he needed sadly. Had 28k still in factory warranty and with turbo! Wish I had the money for it as our used car manager offered it to me at 21k, then I opened the hood and saw all the CS goodies on it

I really hate my student loan payments right now...

The Speed3 is a 4 door, and a hatch. So he probably lost money, to get a car which he deems as family friendly. If he didn't lower his payments (especially with the money he would of lost on depreciation of the Speed3), than I don't see the point.

I guess the idea was his wife didnt feel a 6spd turbo was as family (as in she couldnt drive it) friendly as a HF civic automatic. Its sad how small of a population we have that can actually drive a manual transmission comfortably.

I know, sad indeed :( Reason I'm proud that all cars I've owned have all been MTX :) If I had to commute and deal with traffic every day, than ya, I'd get an auto econocar for that, but if I don't have to, manual is the way to be :driver:

Old thread, but funny story:

My mom's car battery died at a gas station. She called CAA, but the wait was too long, so she was calling friends nearby for a boost.

The gas attendant came out and asked her if they could move her car.

She said "Its an manual, do what you like."

and the kid went "oh." looked disappointed, and went back inside.

....what?

Lol.

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

lol, so true, my niece picked a cell phone over a new used car because she already had a janky corolla. lol. we still tease her to this day since her younger sisters all want a decent used car over a phone. lol. I've heard people getting 38city/45highway on 87 octane with the skyactivs.
