So Mazda says 10w30 and not 10w40..Didn't know that..Always used 10w40.

Mind you this was BEFORE changing them. Before changing coolant + thermostat, colder temps when I tried using the heat. And still irrelevant to cold shifting because the set are not related. If it was, I'd suggest changing fluids, but that wasn't the case. Shifted same before and after, but I changed it because I didn't know how good the current fluid was.
