Luckiest man!!!

Post by Tavman_1213 »

So I must be the luckiest guy right now!!! I have a good friend(basically family!) who I haven't seen in a year or so and I told him about my MX with the BPT project I am working on . Well he gets a grin on his face an tell me he has a few pieces that will peak my interest for my built!! He proceeds to tell me that if I want he has a gtx BPT head that has been ported and polished with a set of cork sport racing cams for my car, he also told me the other list of parts for my car he has including: protege awd transmission(to steal the LSD from), an extra bp intake manifold, 3 CNC machined vj20 turbo manifold plates(for custom intercooler piping), and a set of recaro racing seats(they are grey but I don't care they will drop may a-- an extra inch or so of head room that I need with me being 6'6")!! So I asked him how much he wanted for all of it, he thought about it for a minute an said "f**k it"!!! He told me that he has made his money off of his 3 previous 323 builts(one being his 323F GTR) he wants to see this go to someone who will appreciate these things plus I'm family!!! So I am So fricken excited about this!! Plus I called a work buddy that does custom engine work an he is going to flow test my intake and port match it to the new head if needed!!! And do a mirror polish for $50!!! I feel like I need to buy a fricken lotto ticket or something hahaha!!

Yeah being this tall sucks for cars but whatever it just means that I cant have a sunroof cause it takes up precious head room!!! I am just hoping those recaro seats will be low when I mount them. AN no MrMazda92 we cant trade friends cause I found out that he just became a master mazda tech a couple of months ago!!! hahaha
I will try and take lots of pictures of my build to keep you guys updated!!

Awesome! What a score! (sorry for the bump, this was just too awesome! :) )
As for height, Ant, I'm 6'3" and have kinda boofy hair and don't have issues with my Presso... But then you have a sunroof, yeah? And maybe your torso is where your height is, not your legs so much?
Either way, Tavman, should be nice to sit that lil bit lower! Got them in yet?
