Please don't tap on the hood. It disturbs the gerbils.

Wow, some stunning photos! As always, you make me a little bit jealous
By the way, I love that 'You Like this' thing... but it seemed to not be there in some pics... was it some crafty photoshopping, or was it a sticker that fell off or something? haha
Looks like you had a blast!

My uncle does the same thing. His magnet says US Mail.

Very Nice! looks like it was a good trip other than the minor mishap with the timing belt

Re: Mooneggs 92 MX-3 Daily Driver IP 12/18 HEI problem solve
So once again I feel like an idiot... sigh.
I've been fighting a gremlin in my car for the past couple of months. Basically the car would stall randomly and sputter badly leaving me stranded in the middle of intersections, on the side of the road, at the parking lot at work, etc for a few moments/minutes (enough to freak me out). Then there were occasions where it wouldn't even start up.
It all started with a slightly bouncing tach that would happen intermittently (slightly higher than supposed to be) then the tach started doubling and doing all kinds of crazy stuff so I was thinking the resistor went bad in the HEI mod so I replaced it. Didn't fix it.
I tried replacing the MSD blaster coil - didn't fix it.
I tried rewiring the entire HEI mod - didn't fix it.
I tried replacing the HEI coil wire (7th nipple).
I tried replacing plugs/wires (needed new ones anyways) smoothed everything out but didn't fix it.
I tried replacing the cap/rotor - didn't fix it.
I feel like a n00b sometimes not being able to troubleshoot stuff correctly. The good news is I didn't buy most of that but swapped known working parts from the Race Car. The bad news is I should have swapped the HEI module first! Augh... the whole time, months of pain. So apparently symptoms of a going bad HEI Module are: Not starting (cold), random stalling, tach bouncing. Quick fix is to unplug everything from the module, plugging everything back up and it seems to magically work again.
Just glad to have the car back to running normal again!
Ready for winter :

Your not a noob, just way to honest. Most experienced car guys would have figured out their mistake and not told anybody

Congrats!! Bet you feel good having it solved, huh? More inspiration to get my own stuff finished... Hmm.
Did you figure out the CC overpressure issue in the race car?

Is the green 'N' because you are a new driver?
I made a bunch of magnets when I was working on my magnet project 6 months ago (projected images on a metal door I was able to trace onto magnet material Pg. 21 in this worklog)
