Stainless doorsills

Post by WhiteFinish »

There are some people who drive around with the stainless doorsills.

I've got a set as well but putting them in my car seems to be a problem. Or well... attaching them proporly.

Could somebody who has these doorsills take a picture of how they attached them?
A picture of the underside of the doorsills and a picture of the chassis where it should fall into.

They don't mount from underneath. They come with plastic clips that fit into the retangular holes that are in the doorsill. I believe the OEM plastic ones have the clips already molded in that fit into them. The screws for the stainless doorsill screw into these clips, which in turn expand and lock into place.

Umm I can take some but you literally just screw it into any part of the little white plastic clip... It has to already be inserted into the hole in the car. I remember doing it the first time and I was like OH REALLY, well that was easy  :freak:

I don't know if we had a look at it when you where here Mark, but mine are a pain in the a-- !!

Every time i slightly touch them with my foot they come loose.

I'm really thinking i'm missing some mounting material.
