HEI mod questions

so originally i did this mod cause i was getting the cam agle code and my car was making little back fire noises gettting worse and worse... so i did the mod with the same disty with the blaster 2 coil it starts up and runs exactly the same... so im pretty sure its still the disty. I have a klze disty that originally came with my motor and ive heard that i can use that. Ive taken the cap off and cut off the black little tower like in the k8 disty but in the k8 one there was a little strap to disable the coil that was in it that i took out as well but the ze disty doesnt have one... i don't believe i need to find one for it to work..... also the firing order is different on the cap do i use the order on the cap or do i have to move the plugs to match my k8 one?

ZE disty has no coil/ignitor and yes follow the firing order on the cap.
