Broke and oh yes now the stupid thing wont idle just dies

My mx3 now wont idle coming up as a egr position sensor short. where is this sensor and how can i fix my freaking car.

Your EGR is probably stuck open, causing a exhaust-vacuum leak at idle. Not much you can do but replace the EGR valve. If you're lucky you can just clean it.

Either way, its a b---- to get at. Probably the worst maintenance item on the car.
