I'd like to live there then....in Virginia, it'll lead to a quick ticket, and depending on what area/city you're in, a paid at owners expense tow to the impound lot....

In Ontario, pull the cat and you get caught, you'll plates will get pulled on the spot since your vehicle isn't road-worthy. Your cost to get a tow, and get your car put back on the road. Fun times I bet...
