I'm in NY and am in need of a rust free moonroof or a non-moonroof ROOF (The complete roof for a swap)
Let me know what you have.

Just a heads up, you need to drill out spot welds and weld them back together when replacing the roof panel. Its a super pain, but I haven't personally done it either. You'll need to remove your windsheild and hatch too... what a pain. And get a lot of body work to make it pretty again, are you sure its not fixable rust?

Re: [WTB] Rust Free moonroof or a Complete ROOF
I have a moonroof panel that is "fixable" there is only surface rust on the underside edges of the panel
.
If I could get my hands on a good non'panel roof I want to use it as a mold for a carbon roof.

Why dont you just get it sandblasted? Should be cheaper?easier then finding a mint one.

Good point Glen. That's probably what will happen.

I have one that has a light dent but no rust? In black? with question marks?
