Engine swap need help????
I got a 1994 mazda mx3 it had a 1.8 engine in it i put a 1996 mazda mx6 2.5 engine into it will i need to change the engine harness or will the 1.8 engine harness work with the 2.5 engine?

It's not that one engine is a 1.8 and the other a 2.5, it's if one is OBD1 and the other is OBD2. Look in the FAQ section, any swap questions have been answered a million times...

For the 10,000th time there's no such thing as OBD1 or OBD2 engines. I thought I already answered some of these questions for you? You swap the engines over and just plug into the sensors you already have. The only difference are the extra O2 senor sensors lower down on your exhaust, you don't use it for OBD1. Use the disty for your K8 and get either a KL31 or 36 ECU or have your ECU chipped. stoker100@hotmail.com has chips. Now read the swap post by coleman in the FAX section.
