Thanks man, thats a great tribute! appreciate your comments
still striving for that 'factory modified' look
She could get even cleaner my Friend,
Rear wipers coming off, full debadge could be on the cards, aswell as removing
the hood washer jets and fitting spray bars to the wipers.

Re: UK Sam's 1.6 Turbo MX-3 project
Been having a bit of a cleanup
inside and fitting some aero wiper blades, there pretty decent
for the money! The ones with washer
jets in can wait till I can afford to debadge
and denozzle the bonnet., mirrors arent going
for sparying till end of next week as they are v. busy
at the mo.
My fully stock interior.
and my fully stock engine bay.

Cool, the DOHC 1.6 never came in the states with that dash.
We all want to be fast and look cool. Cool changes but fast never does.

I would send you one but I don't have access to a RHD dash.

I would like to get my hands on one of your passanger door panels that has the "pull" handle. That way I could have matching door panels. I would just loose my master power switch.

Get this idea from me did youAaronTietje wrote:I would like to get my hands on one of your passanger door panels that has the "pull" handle. That way I could have matching door panels. I would just loose my master power switch.
Well, you still need to keep the box to retain function of the windows. I'm sure you found my wiring for the controls on that door pannel. It's not a big deal, it's definitely much easier to reach over and push the button on the passenger side than it would be toreach over and use a manual crank, lol!
I had an idea I never got around to it, but put a hidden/stealth secondary switch to change your new drivers side "passenger" switch to switch controls between controlling the drivers side and the passenger side window. If and when you get around to it, shoot me a PM if you need help on that.

the RHD mx-3's only had one dash, no bubble dash, that's whyAaronTietje wrote:Cool, the DOHC 1.6 never came in the states with that dash.

That's a great idea about a secondary switch and yah, I did get the idea from you lol. After all its a Japanese car and needs to be uniform.Nd4SpdSe wrote:Get this idea from me did youAaronTietje wrote:I would like to get my hands on one of your passanger door panels that has the "pull" handle. Re: UK Sam's 1.6 Turbo MX-3 project
Nice! Glad to see someone else who has done this. Some Japanese importers carry body parts and that’s where I got mine. My car never had power windows so when I installed them I just used two passenger switches with no master control. Nice and clean.Nd4SpdSe wrote:Get this idea from me did youAaronTietje wrote:I would like to get my hands on one of your passanger door panels that has the "pull" handle. Good work love to see your progress. when are you going to swap out that stock B6 or are you planning on tweaking it with like matching cams and such.
