I've been working in the garage now!

OK well it's still a mess because of storage, BUT! Just got done insulating the floorboards and putting sheetrock up.

Here's an old picture of the garage. I forgot to snap more of the garage. Notice that the second door doesn't have glass on it, plywood up. they're wooden doors. Also on the bottom left you'll see a water trail. as soon as I bought the house the water heater just starts leaking. Fantastic. Also notice the light pouring through the corners of the garage doors. Not very insulated

So here's what I've done to the garage so far:
1 Rinnai Tankless water heater
2 Hormann 3 layer insul. garage doors, r9.6 w/2 (VERY) silent door openers (Hormann as well)
R19 insulation on the floorboards
Water resistant sheetrock
Extra lights
Mess.

I have a couple roommates that I charge rent that are helping pay my remodeling off before I get hitched in 2012, so all their crap is in the corner, the mountain of junk.
Next off, I am redoing my kitchen. When I do so, I'm taking the old cabinetry and installing it behind the green car, where the tankless water heater is, to give me some storage room. Once that's done, it's clean up time, and I'll pretty much be done in the garage!

Any neat suggestions on what to do in a garage?

I'm a little concerned about what appears to be a cold air return in the garage. With the possibility of exhaust or fuel gasses being drawn into the return I suggest you at least aluminum tape every joint. CO is particularly toxic to INFANTS. :P Anyway just voicing a concern. An air tight seal of the garage is paramount to ensure your safety. (Dan steps down off soap box). :D
While I'm being a d*ck,,,do you have smoke detectors in place yet? In laws house burned down 3 years ago and the smoke detector saved their lives. Anyway, great looking work. Please post more pics as you continue along. :D

I know you believe that you understand what you think I said but I'm sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

here's my suggestion for the garage... this'll be mine -- as soon as we have our own garage.

Your floor plan is pretty much same as mine. Except mine has a wall that separates kitchen from living room and I have a bar installed where your fridge is
