i need a little advice with some issues
hey i've been having some issues with my 92 auto gs.
1. random idle(more noticeable when your in drive and pressing on the brake, then when its in park)
2. hesitation (when im accelerating from a stop[does it more when its at running temp]) replaced: vaf, pick up, fuel filter, plugs, leads, dis cap, and roter. it seems to go away then come back
3. sludgey foam in rad cap (did a coolant flush but forgot to drain the firewall side of engine) ppl say it may be a headgasket my dad said it could also be a air pocket in it, but i didnt see any coolant in the oil. if u could shed any light on what may be the issue it would be greatly appreciated

Re: i need a little advice
"sludgey foam in rad cap", this could be from the left over rad flush. To properly drain the system you need to remove the lower rad hose. I find to purge air from the system I rapidly squeeze the upper rad hose with the caps on. My MX6 hesitates/stumbles at times too, I was going to replace the cap and rotor. Funny because the stumbling doesn't correspond to any particular condition other than the engine needs to be warm.

Re: i need a little advice
it can, but not always. my car was misfiring bad, with power loss and bad fuel milage, changing my rotor and o2s helped fixed the problems i was having. theres videos on youtube of how to test them with a blowtorch and voltmeter.

Re: i need a little advice
If this is happening when warm don't forget about plugs and wires. When the wires get hot the resistance can skyrocket causing the wire to be inefficient and make your car run like crap. Happened to me.

Re: i need a little advice with some issues
Forget the O2 sensors, I doubt if they'd cause this issue as the car would just run in open loop and your fuel economy would suffer.
