I have 88 durometer front and rear mounts from AWR. The vibration at idle isn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting.

You don't need a hoist. You just need to work with what you have.

when I installed the rear one I had to cut the bolt since there was no way to get it out with the motor in the car. I just got a new bolt and put it in the opposite direction.

I totally got it in there with the motor in the car. ALONE. With some ingenuity and swear words.

Is your front mount smaller than the bracket? Mine floats in there I thought that was strikingly retarded.

Yes, I just got it in there like an hour ago... With a scissor jack and some wood boards.... Now my front mount isn't the same size as the bracket... So there is over an inch of slop- I think they may have sent me the wrong mount. Yay.
