Sweet man, I approve. And I like the smoked lights.
Took the bp+t out of the mx and swapped it into a 95 escort wagon. ;)

ok, so i finished this like 2 months ago but been way too lazy to post it up, so i'm finally going to get to it today.

And it all starts!
Image
And the BP's out! wait...axle's caught
Image
There we go
Image
323's have big engine bays....
Image
Every engine needs some love
Image
umm, VJ-10 turbo
Image
given it a little spray at 3am XD
Image
looks a lot better than it did before spraying
Image
time to pull the B6!
Image
things going smooth so far
Image
it's a lot easier after doing the BP, everything came out smoothly
Image
Image
this is what i call some serious weight reduction
Image
you can see the line across the hood from the strap that holds it down cause its be on so long
Image
that a nice flywheel and ACT clutch (it's slipping now.... -_-)
Image
Walbro 255
Image
took a bit of work and force to get the mounts to line up but it's in!
Image
getting everything hooked up
Image
had to undo the rear subframe to get the exhaust out, it was welded one peice. (323 was a great parts car for me)
Image
Check out this quality work, also my friend cut the top rad hose to try to make it nice but cut it too short, it's fixed now
Image
hahaha, look how ghetto it is
Image
The funny thing is that it started and ran like this, but after a minor complication, there's a black plug that connects to the car from the engine harness that kept blowing the Engine fuse when i turned the car, so i found out the BP is a 15a fuse and not 10a and tried that but it still blew the 15a fuse, so there must be a short, which sucks because i'll have to retrace from the plug back to find the short which is hard when its in the car.
my fix for this was to leave the black plug unplugged and every works fine and the engine starts and everything, i've been running like this for the past 2 months XD

another set back, i snapped both the rear subframe bolts when i was undoing them so i just got my friend to weld the subframe back on, oh well, i guess that means no disk brakes for this car
Image

so after driving a bit and working some minor things out i cleaned up the piping a little bit but as you might be able to see, the intercooler is inside the engine bay where it shouldn't be, i need to get some piping to move it nicely to the front so it actually cools (green and black is going to be the scheme when i get around to it, hence the BOV)
Image
Image

So that's it! it was easy as everyone says it is, it took me about 3 days to get it in and going, another day to work out minor things and i've been driving it for the last 2 months and the only problem is the clutch slippage, so i need a new clutch and i can do some owning up on the roads again! (it was great right after the swap for a little though)

thats kind of a late question considering i posted those pics up on june 4th XD
it was a regular 323 with the JDM grill and headlights that was on kijiji in edmonton, so i came up and grabbed it and did this swap.
i moved the 323 up to my friends house and we did the swap but he lives in a richer area with really anal people that live around him so they ended up calling the cops saying it was stolen on the first night i parked it there, after i finished the swap i was going to swap the b6 into the 323 but because i parked it with no plate and didn't register the car yet they towed it, when i called the impound they asked for specific vehicle questions which i didn't have because the bill of sale was in the car when they towed it and they never called me so there's was no way i could get it back because i don't think they allow people into the yard unless you are there for a reason, i didn't have the money to get it towed and stuff so i never bothered because i got pretty much what i wanted from it, really sucks because i wanted the JDM front grill and the eibachs on ZX2's all around.

when i get around to not being so lazy i'm going to replace the hood and bumper, but the strap's holdin pretty good and i'm unemployed and poor, maybe wytbishop got some work for me here in edmonton? =P
yeah i'll try to take some night shots tonight if i remember, but it might not do too much good because i have a massive sub box, i just kind of did it because it's easy and i was bored, but maybe the extra brightness will light up the trunk

so i got a new dome light from the junkyard and did an 24 LED conversion which is brighter than my old setup

Image

This is my old one which was still really bright that i bought off a member here a while ago, but it's kind of ghetto but works just fine
(if you notice, there's less glare than my new set)
Image

i was actually considering putting another 24 LED board between the switches because there's room but it's already holy s--- bright and figured my eyes hurt enough when it turns on at night XD

so here's blurry pictures of the trunk with the LED trunk light that Solo requested
yeah, that's right, i just have Red Line tranny oil sitting in my trunk
Image
the orange Glaco thing is my JDM rain-x applicator thing, it's freaking wicked
Image
just a blur from this angle
Image
it's still really bright through my tint!
Image

*edit* when i was looking through these pictures i realized my hatch cover wasn't on and that i forgot it at my uncles house XD
i picked it up today and put it back on

so just an update that doesn't really need pictures but i might take some later anyways.

i put the front strut bar from the 323 on yesterday.
but more importantly i got around to doing the dash plug that was blowing my engine fuse, i went through BP god's worklog (Mi|<E) and found the dash harness diagrams he made and realized that was not because of a short, my problem was because i have a 94 and not a 92 or 93, so i swapped over the heated O2 sensor wire over one notch and voila! engine starts without blowing the engine fuse! yay!
wait.....did that wire that is attached to the ECU just pull apart from the heat shrink in the middle.....yeah....yeah it did, screw it, car runs without it, i'll get to it later. i don't remember what wire it was but it's frustrating that it wasn't soldered together well enough in the first place but soldering's easy as pie so it'll be an easy fix, besides the fact that it's under the dash =/
also need to get a flat connector to wire in the rear defroster switch wire.

so besides the setbacks of the split wire and connector for the defroster wire, it runs better than it did before! i can feel the extra power from having the proper (or more proper) fuel ratio, rather than when it was spewing fuel into my engine. (still need a after market FPR)
i always noticed the spell of premium gas when i got out of the car and that smells not so intense now.

i'm getting happier and happier with this BP-T each day =D (and angrier with the slipping clutch )

Evo, Love the LED lights! You wouldn't have any of those little kits anymore would you? Wouldn't mind picking up some for mine. :-P
