All weather reports I have seen call for severe thunderstorms... The LAST thing ANYONE should want to do is stand under a damn tree. Classic stupidity for those who do, haha. Why don't those under a tree bring a giant metal antenna and a kite to fly too...

They did say though that the thunderstorms MIGHT subside after Friday night though, we can only hope. But it's still supposed to rain on Saturday regardless.

Put it off long enough or not, I nor others I am sure, want to stand out in the rain for no more than 10 minutes, let alone a whole meet. So where is the harm in an indoor backup location?

We always get nice wheather in Trenton so just show up here and we'll cruise along lake Ontario. lol Anyway my GF comes in tomorrow from down east and I have to pick her and my daughter up at the Train Station so,,,

Like I said in the past, moving to this date was iffy for me because I have a lot of pre-wedding preperation plans set for tomorrow. If I do make it out, its for a few minutes or so.

Weather report just said "Intense Rain Saturday Afternoon". Better bring your RainDance wash/wax. In all honestly I'd cancel. It's too hard to please everyone. You all want like a months notice for every meet but then when it's so long-term we can't really factor in the weather. But if it's short term nobody can ever make it out because they've got plans.

I remember back in 2005..our Mississauga Meet..it was raining..but we dealt with it....

Gee...if you hold off on this for another 2 or 3 weeks...I'll show up....as Brad said...."RAIN OR SHINE"...

hounestly i think we should have this meet tomorrow.. well i guess now its today.. anyways, we havent had a meet since the kingston meet back in may. its almost the end of july, and we have only had 1 official summer meet. ive been going out to other car club meets because the mx-3 club is slackin... we need to get things rollin again with this club, because before we know it the cold weather will be here again! So come on everyone, lets go out and make this meet one of the ones to remember!!

sorry to rain on your parade everyone...............but nobody really really cares anymore...when you make a commitment to the meet..............you should ALWAYS stick to it.................we did years ago................what is difference now?????? Just my 2 cents.

Example: jschrawen...is now in the nissan 350 site...........they have BIG meets...alot of the meets are in the States..........you think that they are going to cancel......OTTAWA use to have the BIG meet..............I never went to it...but it did rain at times.............BUT THEY NEVER CANCELLED IT...............by the looks of it..........other car meets are more devoted...............sorry but it is true..............it depends how compassionite your are...................good luck!!!!
