[FS] Mazdaspeed Limited Slip Differential *SOLD*

Post by tehbrookzorz »

I have decided to sell the LSD unit and other parts needed for install in our G-series transmissions. I purchased from the local dealer awhile back. It has not been removed from the plastic packaging inside the box, and all related parts I have are also factory sealed.

The part numbers may have changed since, but these are the numbers at the time I purchased:

1x GSY1-27-190 Differential and ring gear
1x F520-17-628 Hub nut
1x G501-17-629A Hub nut
1x G501-17-341A Speedometer drive gear
2x G5R0-27-350B Bearing

For those unaware of the installation process: http://www.imazda.com/forums/showthread ... alling+lsd" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

SOLD.

I may entertain serious offers, but that's taking lowballing to a new level.

You might end up with a bidding war on this... $500 is a good deal.

I most likely will take this off your hands but at the moment, finances are tight and the future of my mazda is in question...

this LSD is the upgraded version with better rivet material, so welding them isn't necessary apparently.

I just hope this is still around in a month..

I had posted a link to the iMazda forum in the tranny section last year. You should be able to find it. I think you will still have to register to see the thread though.

I asked and was not given permission by the OP to post the thread here.

The link I posted is the best reference I'm aware of for the installation of this diff. I'm pretty sure its the same page Wytbishop is thinking of. If you can't get on the site, maybe you could email one of their moderators for help? I can't imagine why your IP would be blocked...

I just want to mention that these LSD's require to be used with 4.11:1 gearing (Mx-6/626/ZX2) unless you swap the ring gear from the mx-3 diff over.

I don't need any cf for my car at this time.
CF fairings for my bike would be sweet, but that's not likely to happen any time soon.
I'm saving for parts for my turbo motor, so I need funds.

I used GM diff toque bolt (counter clockwise) when i did my swap last year (no need to weld)

Very good price

Let me get this straight..

You used the MS LSD with the Mx-3 ring gear and hel dit in place with GM diff torque bolts that thread counter clockwise?

What did you do for the speedo gear since the LSD is not machined...

BUMP!
