Mazda 1993 MX3 1.6L 4 cylinder for sale
Just bought a Mazda3 so I need to get rid of my MX3 (Sadly ). It's a 4 cylinder, 1.6L engine. The frame has about 158,XXX miles on it but at 134,XXX miles I swapped out the engine for the same size engine but only had 90,xxx miles on it. I did this in Fall of 2007. I also replaced the clutch at that time. I installed an aftermarket cruise control system. It works great. I replaced front speakers with nicer Kenwood speakers. I have also kept almost every gas receipt I have gotten and wrote down the mileage and calculated the MPG. I averaged 33mpg on Highway and 28 city. Slightly lower in the Winter. When I bought the car it was white, I bought paint and an Airbrush system and painted the car (except for the mirrors, I never got around to them). The whole front end has basically been replaced since I have owned it. I kept pretty much every receipt from Advanced Auto and Monro Muffler. Here's a list of everything that was replaced:
Advanced Auto:
12/26/2009 - Bearing (Installed wrong the first time)
10/27/2009 - Wiper Blades
07/28/2009 - Dayco Power Steering/AC belt
07/07/2009 - Headlight restorer - worked Amazingly so my headlights are shiny and clear.
07/06/2009 - R134A conversion kit
07/01/2009 - Rear Brake Drum (2x) Monro Muffler installed them.
02/01/2009 - Backup Switch
01/02/2009 - CV Boot kit
01/01/2009 - Clutch Slave Cylinder
12/31/2008 - Clutch Mast Cylinder, Wiper Blades
06/21/2008 - Wearever Gold Brake and Rotor pads (free one time replacement, have the receipt)
07/2009 - Replaced Engine
07/14/2007 - Duralast Clutch set (Part # NU31052-1), Clutch Slave Cylinder
03/25/2007 - Ignition Wire Set
03/24/2007 - Bought the car, have a bunch of receipts from previous owner but can't varify them.
Monro Muffler:
08/21/2009 - Power steering return cooling tube rusted out so they replaced it with a longer hi-temp rubber hose that does the job just fine.
07/02/2009 - Wheels balanced, Fuel tank replaced ($309 + $142 for labor), Rear brake drums installed, front tires replaced and wheels aligned.
The interior is OK except I had a car computer in it so the radio 2-din bezel was modified for a screen as was the vent-unit right above with the AC button. I will sell the modified parts separate. Some other various interior parts have been modified. I do not have the original trunk cover but I made one out of plywood that does the job of covering the trunk.
I would like to just sell it as a parts car but it is drivable. I've been using it as my commuting vehicle for the past 7 months. Most of the miles on the car are from driving from Harrisburg, PA to Rochester, NY which is 300 miles each way of mostly highway.
I have a lot of extra parts. Some I have with me here in PA and the rest are in Rochester, NY.
I would like $700 for it but will accept offers. I will post pictures tomorrow when there is more light.
Email me with any questions! Thanks.
