Anyone from Washington state willing to help me out?
I am looking for someone in WA state to help me out! I am ordering some rims here shortly and would like to have em shipped to WA as the shipping is 150$ less to ship there and its only about a 1.5hr drive to Seattle area for me from BC! So if anyone could help me out with an address, name and whatnot for them to get shipped too via FedEx and to store them for a lil bit till I can come get them that would be realllly appreciated! Anyone? Josh, Eric..?
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!

hey hey, use package express in sumas, 2 min across the border from abby. tyler and i have mail boxes there. you only pay about 3-8 bucks per package that they receive for you, then bring it back across and only pay tax. i usualy park in the big truck parking on the right side before the border and walk across, quicker and easier. here is their site. http://www.packageexpress.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks man, I will check that out!
Do I need a mailbox as well to get the packages or do I just pay the fees once I go there (they just store them there I assume?) and just register on the site..

you just fill out the form and they give you a mailbox number, they are just a small warehouse a block in from the border. they charge you per item you have shipped there, like 3 bucks for small stuff and a little more as the items get bigger. after 30 days i think you get charged fro another month of the same fee. when you get stuff shipped there make sure you put your mailbox number which is just a account number in your shipping address. make sure you take a receipt from ebay or paypal for when you come back, like i said walking is alot easier since you don't have a car to check and usually the line up's go slow, i can walk across and back threw customs before the line moves 10 cars....depending on how busy. since you are getting rims though...are they made in the us because if so make sure it says made in the usa on the order sheet or box of the rims, this will save you on the duty. i've got a set of vent visors for my 323 sitting there right now i have to pick up in a couple of weeks.

I am not sure if they are made in the USA. I am guessing NOT. Do you think it would be wise to pay more to get em shipped to my house? That way the price i pay for shipping handles the duties and all that

depends on how they are being shipped, you will pay the tax the same, it's duty and handling fee's by the shipping company that will get you. say 300.00 rims shipped by ups will probably cost you about 80-100.00 if not more. picking them up at the border might set you back about 35.00, but the fee's from the shipping company will be what varies. if possible get shipped by usps ground, that would be your best bet. i personaly get most stuff shipped to the border then pick it up at a later date.

I'm trying to get outta here by Feb 5th, but if you still need it, I can hold your rims until then. Also, I'm in southern WA, so it's another 3-4 hours south of Seattle, depending whether or not you have a radar/ laser detector.

you actualy don't get a "mailbox", just a number and it's free, you just pay per parcel at pickup. it's the only way to go, i get quite a bit of stuff there and just make a border run ever month or two during the summer since we go to the coast just as offen.

If this dont work out for you Jordan.. let me know and we can get it settled. We can ship them to my work address so they arent sitting on my front porch all day too. Then we can meet up at the border some time. I need to hit the duty free store for some booze soon anyway
