I want a straight neck manifold,
I have a kfze it came witha straight neck. but this manifold hits the booster withouth the t/b even on it so its a no go...
I have seen a KLG4 manifold fits with slight modding, Whats all needed to be modded?
Will a KLDE Manifold clear the stock booster?

Re: MANIFOLD HELP
theres some metal removal that has to be done to fit the kf throttle body to the G4 manifold. some people grind on the TB some grind the manifold. its just the bottom lip that has to be removed, not as big a deal as it probably sounds.
is the throttle linkage on the kf TB the same as the K8 or is it the dual (better throttle response type) like on the 2.5s ?
if its the k8 type... it should fit as the straight neck ZE manifold fits with the k8 linkage swapped onto the kl31 TB .... just takes a little finesse to install it, but once installed , it clears

Re: MANIFOLD HELP
ok... but you have a KFZE not a KLZE right ?
the klg4 manifold has oval ports(what you want for a KF), use the throttle body you have now(millenia) and grind the manifold like i mentioned, youll see where to grind when you try and mate them together.

thanks and yes thats what i have a KF with oval ports,
Does a klg4 with t/b clear the brake booster and that stuff?
Does a KLDE with a t/b clear the brake booster and stuff?

Re: MANIFOLD HELP
The DE short neck clears with no modification. (although the tb linkage damn close when at WOT)nlsolja123 wrote:thanks and yes thats what i have a KF with oval ports,

but the G4 manifold is dyno proven for more power over the DE short neck on probetalk... with no torque loss.
im in the process of porting a G4 manifold to swap onto my car. Fowljesse is using one now, maybe he will chime in on weather it fits with no modification. but at worst youll have to swap a k8 throttle linkage onto your millenia TB to clear the brake master
