Not sure if they come in black lol, but this should have all the info you need

http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.ph ... &start=750" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

P.S. The search engine sux here unless you know the exact name.... impossible to find stuff on here, just too many things with same "key" word come up.... and most are irrelevant to the search. This took me like 10 min to find, and I only found I cause I knew it existed lol

So I have one style of Projector and they're awesome... I was in the Spyder group buy.

Has anyone had fitment or any other issues with the other style of lights?... I know some on eBay say they are DOT and some don't mention that. I remember reading somewhere in my search that they don't fit well, but that may be just one specific case... anyone back this up?

i've said it a few times.. the option racing ones with the vertical leds are smaller than oem spec. they leave a gap on the bottom

i dont notice a huge gap
i like the look of these over the spyder ones but there a few drawbacks to each.. (no DOT on these!)

heres a crappy pic

not the typical stepped cutoff line like i said before
they are not DOT approved and may blind drivers on the right if run with HIDs
haven't had a problem with the police yet but it does light up the right side of the road more intensely
simply because the projectors are not meant for HIDs

thx for the blurr pic haha

but the light pattern/cut-off line seems better than the projector with leds one.

can you adjust your passenger side headlight lower?
to make it more even! but seems better cut-off line!!

it was taken with a 2 megapixel camera phone in the summer to show that the cutoff isnt stepped thats all.
besides its not like the cutoff line is gonna unpredictably zigzag where the truck is in the way
use your imagination to fill in the rest! geez lol

here it looks like this: ___/
(low on the left then goes up on the right)
there simple.

and btw the beam is coming from the projectors lol

you can actually see the gap on the side of your lights as well, sizzle. i agree, they look better, but the 1) fitment is definitely off, and 2) the cutoff is wrong. and i guess if you care about such things, there's no DOT stamp. overall, they're hard to recommend...

i agree,
i wouldn't recommend these over the spyder ones but they are a lot more stylish
had i known they weren't as functional i probably would have gone with the spyder ones
that is why i post pics and remind people about the cutoff whenever i can,
so they can make informed decisions when choosing their projectors.

draw the pros yourself
but the major cons are as follows:
-No DOT stamp - Meaning if u get pulled over they are not legal and you will most likely be ticketed.
-Non-HID Cutoff shield - This shield type was not intended for HID use hence you may blind some drivers on the right.
If this just so happens to be a cop then u will most likely be screwed.
-Fitment issues - the fitment may be horrid or just an minor inconvenience to some.
